The myth
According to the myth, the continent takes its name from Europa, carried across the sea by Zeus as a white bull. The scene is on the Greek 2 euro coin and outside the EU Council in Brussels.

Drawn as an old copperplate engraving and ringed by the twelve gold stars and the names of all 27 EU member states. Cream and gold on royal blue.
